QUOTING SPECIALIST

About the Role

We are seeking a detail oriented Quoting Specialist to prepare, review, and deliver accurate price quotes, estimates, and proposals to customers, driving sales profitability. In this role, you will analyze project requirements, calculate costs, and collaborate with sales/project management teams to ensure competitive pricing.

What You’ll Do

Quoting

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand project requirements thoroughly

  • Collaborate with general manager, field operations leadership, project management, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate quotations

  • Utilize cost estimation software, historical data, and industry benchmarks to determine material, labor, and overhead costs for projects

  • Conduct detailed cost breakdowns for various project components and activities

  • Analyze and mitigate potential risks that may impact project costs

  • Prepare comprehensive and competitive quotations tailored to meet client requirements

  • Present quotations to clients and address any inquiries or modifications as needed

  • Track and analyze quote outcomes to refine future estimation and pricing strategies

  • Assist in the development of quotation strategies and pricing models to maximize competitiveness while maintaining profitability

  • Generate reports and analysis on quotation activity, including win-loss analysis and pricing trends

  • Provide regular updates to leadership on quotation status, potential opportunities, and challenges

Vendor and Supplier Relations

  • Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for services

  • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements to optimize project costs

What We’re Looking For

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook and Excel

  • Strong administrative skills including organization, time management and attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate with all positions in the organization

  • Experience in the commercial furniture industry desired

CREW LEADER

About the Role

The Crew Leader oversees all on-site installation activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. This role leads installation crews, manages workflow and task assignments, coordinates with customers and internal teams, and ensures documentation, communication, and service excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Provides daily leadership to installation crews, assigning work areas, coordinating product staging, and ensuring efficient workflow

  • Serves as the primary on-site decision maker, proactively identifying and resolving installation challenges and customer concerns

  • Trains and mentors Installers and Lead Installers in furniture assembly, lock installation, safety, and quality standards

  • Installs systems furniture, case goods, accessories, and shelving according to blueprints and manufacturer specifications

  • Reviews installation plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and reports discrepancies

  • Maintains consistent communication with internal teams and customers regarding progress, issues, and resolutions

  • Documents progress, product damage, punch lists, and approvals via photos and written reports

  • Ensures all customer approvals and project-related paperwork are completed accurately and on time

  • Models professionalism through communication, appearance, teamwork, customer service, and strong work ethic

  • Upholds jobsite safety protocols and ensures proper use of tools, equipment, and installation practices

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional installation experience with systems furniture, case goods, accessories, and related components

  • Strong understanding of product specifications, finishes, fabrics, and mechanical adjustments

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings

  • Understanding of basic electrical principles and systems furniture electrical installations

  • Mechanical aptitude and safe operation of tools and equipment

  • Ability to document and communicate using tablets and mobile devices

  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills

  • Physical capability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
